Top-Notch Sound— Received Instrumentally The 80 students who participated in the Instru- mental Music Department were rewarded by another successful year. Mr. Vander Wilt, head of the In- strumental Music Department, directs such groups as the Woodwind Choir, Brass Choir, String Ensem- ble, Concert Band, Stage Band, and the Marching Band. In the 1969-1970 school year, enthusiastic stu- dents practiced to achieve the best sound in music for EHS. These groups played at assemblies for the student body, as well as other activities, including half-time entertainment at football and basketball games.
