206 Singers Reflect Image Of East High For the 206 students who participate in the Vocal Music Department, East High offers the opportunity to broaden musical knowledge through experience. Mr. Carnes, vocal music director, worked hard to achieve perfection in his four groups: A Cap- pella Choir, Boys ' Glee Club, Girls ' Glee Club, and the Scarlet Singers. Not only did they sound great, but they added the pride that accom- panies success. On several occasions the student body has had opportunities to hear the different groups per- form. The A Cappella Choir, the Girls ' Glee Club, and the Boys ' Glee Club performed in the Thanksgiving and Christmas assemblies. Other activities for the vocal groups include perform- ances throughout the city at banquets and other schools. ft 9 BOYS GLEE CLUB, Row 1: Jeff Rowot, Mark Bassett, Dave Warren, Jon Hogbin, Duke Saunders, Doug Fitch, Jon Bloomquist, Marc Badglcy.
