Comedy Revealed In ' Learn Baby Learn ' Miss Minick (Julia Healy) and Dr. Joplin (Keith Peterson) discuss the problems and mischievous antics displayed by Put-on ' a character played by Bob Yacko. Mrs. Adams (Mardeen Cassell) tries to encourage Stubby (Tom Rowat) to pay more attention to his studies rather than to spend so much time playing basketball. William F. Davidson ' s production of Learn Baby Learn was the spring play presented April 9 and 10. With Mr. Waller as director, the plot revolved around a group of high school students who planned to overthrow a decision of the School Board (cancelling their game) by plotting mis- chievous events. The comedy featured both black and white actors, along with a modern setting of the 70 ' s. Tryouts were held for those who wanted to participate in the play. The cast was chosen on the basis of their acting ability. Helping make the play a success was Mr. Heckel, technical director, and Debbie Gather- cole, stage manager.
