Commercial law teaches the student the importance of rules and regula- tions made up by authorities with the intent of enforcing justice and keeping peace. The basic concepts of law and the awareness of rights and respon- sibilities granted the citizen are taught in law class. Learning to fasten stitches with a sewing machine is one of the many skills learned in homemaking class. This and many other techniques are taught to prepare a girl for running a well-organized household of her own.
