Mr. Nelson, We, the members of The Senior Class of 1970, wish to dedicate this year's Minaret to you. Throughout our years at East High School you have successfully provided us with an outstanding marching band and orchestra which greatly helped to boost our spirit and loyalty, and gave us something of which to be proud, We shall never forget the terrific times we had in our pep assemblies and in section 5 at the Rubber Bowl, singing, and cheering along with the band. Nor shall we forget the splendid way in which the band represented our school during halftime. We are remembering, too, your work inorganizing and directing the fine orchestra whose music brightened so many assemblies during our years at East. V We wish, then, to thank you in this special way for all you have done for us.
