Students are eager to learn and better themselves in orchestra. And the orchestra played on . . . Some of these talented orchestra students played for the musical Damn Yankees, while the whole group, about twenty-four in all, took part in the annual Christmas Concert along with the choir. Throughout the year, the orchestra had candy and magazine sales to raise money. Freshmen and sophomores are the major part of the Concert Band here. They played at all the home basketball games and took part in the Spring Concert. Another groovin' group was the Stage Band. Taking part in festivals, conventions, and concerts, they give their electronic guitars and pianos a lot of use. Enthusiastically conducting his orchestra is Mr. Folks. Orchestra Top row: L. Students worked at odd jobs around the city, saving this money for a trip they were going to take to Austria but decided against because they could not raise a representative group. Marching Band attended the dedication of the London Bridge, which was an honor as only high-quality groups in three states were invited. The band also took part in the Winter Concert, Winter of '72- A Symposium of Sound, along with the chorus.
