Mr. Earl Cotter Geometry, Algebra Mr. Richard Meyer General Math Mr. Miles Benda Miss Roberta Connelly Algebra, Gen. Math Intro Algebra Welcome to East High's Mathematics Laboratory This is the opening sentence heard by most students enrolled in the Mathematics Laboratory at East. This program allows each student to work at his own pace thereby avoiding hindrance to some and confusion to others. The program is designed in such a way, if a student doesn't understand a particular problem he may go to a student monitor and play a tape pertaining to the problem. Added interest in Home Ec. is evidenced by the fact more classes have had to be added and additional teachers have been hired. To further bear out this fact, this year found over 49 applicants for the Child Care Program, when only I8 could be chosen. The male student body of East can rest assured the girls taking Home Economics will be good homemakers. A general shop program no longer exists at East. Due to this fact freshmen can now enroll in any shop program except auto mechanics, which carries a prerequisite to Metal I-2. A new addition in the Industrial Arts Department is Mr. Ken Golash who carries the extra load of classes. Increase in visual aids have helped the department in that if a student misses a class he can make the work up by viewing the film loops available. ,'., egg M I as If K M I. . i 4 Mr. Dwayne Larsen Mr. Richard Impson Geometry Gen.
