To be graduating from high school at a time when so many challenging problems are waiting to be solved should cause every member of this Iune Class to think of himself in relation to the needs of society. How has your attendance at East High prepared you for living in a world whose pattern of life is so rapidly changing? The opportunities of further education are limited only by your ability and industry to take advantage of them. Many will find those opportunities in colleges or other institutions of higher learning. Other will find them while on the job or associating with people. We have tried to teach you how to evaluate knowledge so that you may approach your problems with clear thinking and integrity of mind. The ideals you have formulated coupled with a will to serve those ideals are invaluable to successful living. Our associations together have been pleasant and we regret to see the time come when we must separate, although we know it is but a part of the great pattern of world change. Always remember your interest is our interest and your success is a measure of ours. E. E. FELL, Ass't. Prin. Giving advice, checking on absence and helping students find enjoyment are a few of the daily tasks of Miss Olive Iones and Mr. Clyde Hake, student counselors. Mrs. Dorothy Harrison and Mr. Myron Reese are in charge of bookkeeping and accounting of all school finances.
