As we reflect over the past year, we realize that this memory book was
a product of not merely the staff' s work, but of many other people
working toward a common goal-a yearbook of which the student
body would be proud. To these people who have sacrificed both time
and effort go our most sincere appreciation . .
. . .To Mr. L. Clayton Dickson, our principal,
who had unbounding patience with staff ac-
tivities, goes our thanks . . .
. . . To Miss Minnie Baker, who conquered the
almost insurmountable task of handling our
budget . . .
. . . To our friends at Rolland Studio, Mr. A. C.
Weyersberg, Mr. Harold Mehvner, and Mrs.
DeLois Thomas, for their speedy aid with
pictures . . .
. . . To Mr. Stanley Fike, administrative assistant
to Senator Symington, for his effort in secur-
ing for us the Official Navy Transparency of
the late President Kennedy . . .
. . . To Mr. W. K. Prewitt, our sponsor, whose
long hours of guidance have contributed
much to our Yearbook, goes the staff' s deep-
est thanks . . .
And finally, We wish to thank you the student body for your support
of the 1964 Eastonian. But to all of the people to whom we are in-
debted we hope will go more than our thanks. To them should also
go a sense of pride-pride in the fact that they helped to make the
1964 Eastonian what it is and should be: A book of memories to
be forever cherished.
