N. Cummins work together to present the finest in literature and films for those taking English. Miss Ewalt, Miss Rose Martin, and Miss Dasbach instruct pupils ln speech interpretation. Miss Eva Van Natta has charge of the public speaking and advanced speech work. Publications are under the direction of Miss Welch. Mr. Cummins and Miss McClure teach the foreign language. Miss McClure has two classes in Latin while Mr, Cummins has three hours of Spanish. Arr is under rhe direction of Miss Agnes Crawford. The music staff consists of four members, Mr. Laurence Nivens, Mr. Donovan Mabbott, Mr. Marion Sell, and Miss Roberta Hendee. Borh Mr. Mabbort and Mr. Nivens teach vocal music while Mr. Sell has charge of rhe band and orchestra. Miss Hendee serves as accompanist. Frances Maddi is the efficient office registrar. S l lehind the camera vf 15, ii fa ' Sixteen our faculty members form this department. Very important in a persons train g is that provided by the mathematical instructors. Mr. Paul Day Mr. Richard Benson, and Mr. Carl West together with Miss C. Ruth Miller teach the fundamentals of math. Mr. Day instructs pupils in A.D.E. and has the only physiography class. Miss Miller also conducts three civics classes, and Mr. Benson teaches bookkeeping. Boys work with actual tools in the wood,metal shops under the direction of Mr. C. B. McClure andVMr. L. A. Priefert respectively. Future draftsmen receive instruction under Mr. Tiefels watchful eye. Miss Mabel Cobb, Miss Minnie Baker, and Miss Katherine Miller compose the commercial department. Miss Baker serves as school treasurer. Sgt. Jack Miller directs R.O.T.C, work. Mr. Gene Sebastian and Mr. Lester Fields promote better health through their efforts in the physical education de- partment. Miss Genevieve Nowlin and Miss Beneta Reed help the girls to become good housekeepers and better cooks. Mr. Bernard C. Greene has charge of the R.T.I. and Coperative Occupational Education.
