Junior High Student Council The iunior high student council has had a very busy year, starting off with a recognition assembly in the fall. The assembly gave certificates of re- cognition to the students who are in the various activities around school, such as student directors, fable monitors, club presidents and many others. The ,Council also sponsored a dance, the annual talent show and took the leading part in the maga- zine drive which brought in over three thousand dol- lars in sales in the iunior high. This year East played host to the city-wide Junior High Student Council Convention and wound up the year's activi- ties with the awarding of the traditional bronze, sil- ver and gold E's at the E Day assembly.
