Herman held the position of county commissioner of health. He had many inspiring and humorous tales to tell us about the convention. Herman's integrity, character, ond leadership made him most deserving of this honor. 9,7 W rx 5333.611 4 . 4 Most Outstanding Boy and Girl David Lawson and Ginger Watts were chosen by the entire student body as East High's Out- standing Boy and Girl. The contest was spon- sored by the Optimist Club in connection with You'th Appreciation Week. David is an A stu- dent, is active in many organizations, and is a star athlete. Ginger, head cheerleader, has an irresistible personality and a flashing smile that makes her liked and admired by all. 97 Girls' State Lively Prissy Albright was chosen as the delegate to Girls' State at Mur- freesboro.
