YE'- o weekends to traveT on vacation, for study, or out of necessity. Reasons for student trips ranged from visiting friends and relatives to funerals weddings, and shopping. Many stu- dents were involved in youth roup trips, for which the earned the money themselves through fund- raisers or regular jobs. This provided a chance for them to make new friends while experiencing a new culture.
