East has one of the finest mathe- matics departments in the United States, mak- ing possible a greater assortment of courses. These courses range from basic mathe- matics to mathematical analysis and are taught by competent teachers. The classes fall into two categories, arithmetic and rea- soning. Needless to say, this caused much confusion and anxiety among the students. Trying doggedly to complete the assignment are Fred Burmont and Paul Johnson as they heat their silver to a more recognizable state. ARTHUR M. BRAGG Biology JOHN W.
