GRANT ANDERSON, President JANE STANDER, Vice-President Wadlgwivjfl ., , EQ , Z' M5145 on Eventful Years W, Z Aff ' . Seniors Look Back In the fall of 1951 the Class of '5 elected Joe lake as president. With the help of sponsors, Mr. Merlin Arbogast and Mrs. Pauline Cleaver, the class planned a successful Sophomore party and Red and White day activities. The following year as juniors, led by President Pete LaChapelle, the class showed enthusiastic spirit even more. The Junior Prom was the high- light of the year with Queen Carolyn Reese reigning over a Winter Wonder- land. The cooperative spirit of the class was carried on into the spring in the Red and White day events. This year in place of the traditional Barn dance, the senior class and the Spotlight staff combined efforts in promoting an'unusually successful Homecoming dance. The creativeness of the senior class was especially well demonstrated in the Senior Prom, lsIand Paradise, in a Hawaiian setting. The class also presented: l Killed the Count, the senior class play, an Arbor day program, Class day program, senior luncheon, a class picnic and had a leading part in the annual Red and White day festivities. Grant Anderson, president of the Class of '54, inspired all with his eagerness and vivacity, ' EMM M RUTH RAHN, Secretary JO ANNE CUNNINGHAM, Treasurer Mn-Ljfv-v'-'aff' an-dye. . fgmif llllllil . MERLIN ARBOGAST Sponsor The members of the Class of 1954 wish to thank our sponsors, Mrs. Pauline Cleaver and Mr. Merlin Arbogast, for all their enthusi- astic support during the past three years. A team is only as good as its managers, and without them, l can sincerely say that we would not have been as successful. Words are not adequate to express our grati- tude, so let us just say-thank you so very much. Grant Anderson Mas. PAULINE cL:Avik, Sponsor 5 Q,-J
