To the administration and faculty falls the often- times weary task of guiding us, the Pioneers, along shadowy paths of knowledge toward the light of understanding-to the end that we may emerge as useful and enlightened citizens ready to guide those who follow us. The task has not al- ways been easy, for we have not always wanted to distinguish between that which is right and that which is pleasant. With patience and wisdom our guides have helped us to learn the valuable lessons which ex- perience can teach along the trail. They have en- couraged us when difficulties would cause us to falter or turn backg they have been glad in our successes.
