He was the leading man in our play last year, the treasurer of the Wald and Weg Club this year, as well as a free-styler on the swimming team. MARX ANN CLOCK Sugar and spice and everything nice 4' that's Mary Ann. Through her lady-like ways and charming personality, Cholly has twice won for herself a spot on our homecoming court. JAMES MORRIS DAVIES His sense of humor does not vary, and he is never bored with life. Since Jim always makes his own party wherever he goes, it is fun to be with him. KA I HERINE ANN DAVID Ixay is always neat and meticulous, as is everything she does. Willing to take on any task, large or small, with or without glory, she can be depended upon to do her best as either a follower or a leader. His discretion and in- tegrity make him a leader both on and off the athletic field. SANDRA LOU ELIAS San can keep everyone in stitches without even trying. He may seem quiet, but it is a wise head that maketh a still tongue. BRUCE EDWARD GI LMORE If you listened to him long enough, Bruce could convince you that black is white. His activity on the tennis courts and cross country have shown his proficiency in both. ESI HER DAUBE l1LAbER Exceptionally adept in all realms of art, music, writing, and speaking, throughout high school Esther has used her versatility unselfishly for the benefit of all. LEWIS PECK GREEN I never dare to be as funny as I am. The Green 0ne's endless .supply of wit is as popular as is his nick-name. His participa- tion in class undertakings is welcome as well as helpful, for he always leaves us laughing. THOMAS J. HANSEN Many of Tom's interests lie in the outdoors, which he knows well through the Wald and Weg Club and other personal experiences. He is inquiring in the classroom and quick on the baseball field. MARYLYN COYE HARRETT The clothes she wears reflect her genius for designing and her skill as a seamstress. The class of '56, as well as the band and music department, was glad to have Marylyn with her many talents rejoin our ranks. DONALD VFRNON HARRISON lion enjoys el erything he does-and he does almost eterything. Despite h.'s duties as Sec- retary-Treasurer of the Varsity Club and Veep of the Senior Class he ound time to be a riend to all. ANNE LEE HAUENSTE IN Anne's membership in both the Bible Club and Future Teachers is proof that, in spite of her quiet outward appearance, she lacks no school spirit. Helpfulness and kindness become her. JOANNE LORAH HEFFNER ,lo's combination of polite English manners and fun-loving American personality makes her a favorite everywhere. Her shy smile and peaches-and-cream complexion are enough to attract any male. SUSAN CLARA HENRY A constant friend is a rare thing and hard to find.
