Win Or Lose We Keep Cheering ABoy...ACirl...ACoke Our School Day btarts So Early We Face The Nation THIS is the story of youth. Not the off-lieat black-jacket ed characters you see portrayed in films and television, not the all study and no play unfortunates, hut the typical boys and girls who make up that cross section of humanity known as teenagers. We present a story of student life here in East Detroit. Our teens study, of course, but that is only one segment of the wide circle of events which makes life exciting in this school and this city. Out students love to sleep . . . in hed, and occasionally in class. They are sports minded, like parties, date often, dread report cards, eat most of the time, and enjoy lieing entertain- ed. Our teens like to play but they also pray. They like music but are not rabid rock in, rollers, They like nice clothes and loud cars. Despite the critics, our students are planning for the fu- ture, with an eye on the failures of the past.
