H LLOFF ME in ?t we 'Q wwf Each year East Central seeks to honor sophomores who have achieved high- est student achievement in scholarship, leadership, personality, and character. This honor is accomplished through the Hall of Fame, and being elected to mem- bership in the Hall ol' Fame is the highest honor an East Central student can at- tain. The Toni Tom stall' sponsors this activity each year, under the sponsorship ol Mr. Rudolph Mayes. Students nominated for membership in this select group niust meet the following standards. They must have attained a B average or better scholastically, shown initiative and interest in academic work, rendered outstanding or persistent service to the school in activities which he has spon- sored or undertakeng luliilled to the best ol' his ability any request of him while occupying any position ol' responsibility fineluding elected offices or committeesj exhiliitrid approved ideals ol' character and conductg and completed three semes- tr-rs of college work. H 'lillf' 1966 Wo-lie-l,o proudly presents two outstanding students to the Hall of lfarne. Betty Trapp, Philadelphia, is in the Home Economics Curriculum, and Billy Pat Evans, Carthage, is in Engineering. Congratulations to these two fine ,young leaders who have achieved this high honor.
