SOPHOMORE CLASS The sophomore class is proud of its scholastic record and hopes to maintain it. There are ten members in the National Honor Society, and the class is well represented in other clubs. The essays of Carmen Mathis, Betty Jean Linhart, and Howard Mark were submitted in the American Legion Essay Contest. The annual Christmas Party held on December 19, was centered around the snow queen, who was Jo Ann Eddy. Her attendants were Wanda Bland, Patricia Gerer, Evelyn Oberly, and Yvonne Veit. They were chosen by a vote of the class. Round and square dancing, and a gift exchange furnished the evening's entertainment. The sophomore class wishes to thank Mrs. Ryder and Mrs. Norris, the sponsors, for their special guidance throughout the year. l25l
