TO THE SENIORS One of the best definitions of common sense is given by Stowe, who says: '4It is the knack of seeing 'things as they are and doing things as they should be done. Most people who are credited with rare judgment have merely de- veloped the gift of common sense. Practical common sense can be infinite- ly more valuable than a most elaborate university education.
