O'NEIL Presiding as Dean of Girls and adviser of the Student Council, Miss Veronica O'Neil has won the firm friendship of students and parents alike. A charming personality and an understanding na- ture have made Miss O'Neil known to the girls as one of the best friends in time of need. Throughout these past months his desire to promote the educational oppor- tunities and facilities of our school, his willing co-operation, his interest in and presence at all school activities, and his informal, amiable disposition are charac- teristics we have noted and admired in him. Carved and gum ladened be- fore Christmas vacation, the study hall desks came back shining and smooth after a weelc's hard work of scraping, sanding, and refinishing, done by a special committee appointed by the Council. Keeping order in the cafeteria line, organizing traflic on the stairways, and providing entertaining pep convos are just a few of the other responsibil- ities which are taken care of by the student gov- ernment.
