Sponish Club The Spanish Club dedicated its 1968-69 program to furthering the study of the Spanish culture and language. Spanish Club's main project was their Spanish fiesta for the Thunderbird Dinner. The Fiesta included a pinata, Spanish music, an art exhibit, and cultural displays. Other projects included a Christmas party, featuring Spanish food, and Spanish decorations, and a spring banquet opened to the members and their families. Interest in Spanish culture is shown here by Dennis Goff, student council representative, Mona Saupe, secretary-treasurer, Debra Sheppard, vice-president, and Margo Bell, president. The 1968-69 cIub's main project for this year was a sidewalk cafe at the Thunderbird Dinner. The cafe served punch and cookies contributed by club mem- bers and Mrs. Diebold, the sponsor. Going to Alaska Native Service Hospital and enter- taining the patients was their Christmas project.
