German Club The primary purpose of the German Club was to have a place where people who were interested in the German language and culture could come to study and learn. The Thunderbird Dinner project, which was the main project for the 1968-69 year, included slides, a puppet show, and displays of knick knacks from Germany. The members gave out German Chocolate candy to the visitors. Another project was the Oktoberfest. This after school festival included such things as German food, German relics on display, and German music.
