L - -e gg, -F , -Q 1 ll Pnophecq 015 I 968 Here it is, the year of 1968. The class of 1958 has planned a class reunion. All of the members of the class are coming. Many have come from far away to be here. Why don't we join them and see how they have fared in the world? DONNA ADKINS is carrying on the tradition of keeping the town of Pitzer alive by having a large Super-Market there. JOHN BINNS has returned from Arabia, where he left his haren of 25 wives, for this reunion. MARVIN BENNETT has just finished a picture called The Little Old Man starring Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe and himself. BILL BOND has just returned from his world-wide tour on which he drove his diesel-powered tricycle. J ERALD BOYLE is now chief stylist at Chrysler Corporation, which has just come out with the new Super Duper Futuristic Car of the future. Cars now have eight headlights and are so low that you lay down on the sidewalk and roll in. CAROLYN BRADSHAW took time off from her nursing career to attend the reunion. She is a private nurse to a high school principal who is worrying about falling hair. JOHN BRUNSMANN came from California where he is a farm manager. NANCY CLARK also took time offf from her nursing career. She is the head of the Nurses' Staff at the Surgical Institution in the city of Garretville. RUTH CRAWFORD has come from her teaching career. JOAN DUFF tells us she spends all of her time taking care of her Uiplets. DEAN ERB has been competing in the 1968 Olympics in Eurpoe. Wait a minute! We have just received a telegram! He is returning home for the re- union, with you guessed it, Another broken leg! WAYNE FASTLE came from his small farm of 1000 acres. He has great hopes Of catching up with Hunters in a few years. He also has a little sideline of designing and repairing foreign sports cars. JEAN FEGAN is a famous dress designer who has just returned from Paris with a new creation. JOHN FREDERICK flew here in his jet plane. He is a jet pilot in the Air Force. FREDA GONSETH didn't have far to come. She is a private secretary to three millionaires in Des Moines. ROBERT KIRSCHER is home on furlough. He has made the Armed Forces his Career. KAREL KOBOLDT took time off from her business to be here. She is now the president of the Earlham Pedigree Company which she founded. Some of her prominate customers are Miss Diana 's Cat Heaven and the Payne Sheep Ranch. The company motto is: We can write a pedigree for anything. JANET LEEPER and CAROLYN POWELL are here from their jobs. They were the starletts of the Senior Class play of 1958 and are now members of the Grand Ole Opry touring the country. DWIGHT LETZ came from his barber shop. He only had one wish when he left E. H.S. ten years ago. It was to be a barber and get a hold of Larry Houghman. KEITH MAPES arrived very sadly. He was the first highway patrolman to lose all of his points. DEAN NELSON is now a big game hunter. DIANA NELSON, Now president of the World-Wide Cat Association, has just returned from Switzerland. She brought with her a pair of cats noted for there ability to climb mountains. CHARLES NIERMAN is having his last visit with the class of 1958. He is to be a grease monkey on the muffler- belt of the first rocket to Mars. Happy Landing. TRUMAN PAYNE is now joke man for the highest paid comedian in Hollywood. He came to the reunion to see if anyone knew of any jokes he hadn't heard. Truman runs a barber shop on the side, but rarely visits it. CONNIE PIATT who owns a large share of the Curtiss Candy Company, took time off from her copy-girl job at the Madisonian office to be here. PAT ROSS joined us from her nursing career. She takes care of the Man in the Moon and all of his kids, who are suffering from Earth Fever. DIANE SLATER left her little mint-green ranch type house, climbed into her 1968 black Chevy and came to the class reunion leaving her two basketball teams at home. She has five boys and six girls. BOB SLOAN came from his headquarters in New York to this reunion. He is now the writer of small children's books. He was one of the better English students at Earlham High ten years ago. WILLIS SMITH arrived in one of the planes of the airline of which he is now the twentieth vice-president. He joined the airlines ten years ago. LARRY SPENCER came from Columbia University where he is the Doctor of Mathematics. SUSAN WELCH has just retumed from Alaska to this reunion. There she had a group of Camp Fire Girls on a camp out.
