Chapter is one ofthe most active organizations in Earlham High. Each year the F.F.A. chooses a high school sweetheart, and presents her with a iacket at a school dance which the F.F.A. sponsors. As a project, the F.F.A. farmed our their sheep on the half-shares basis. The Chapter originally bought eight ewes which had ten lambs. When these were sold, a profit of forty-two per cent of the investment was made. The F.F.A. also does many community services, such as testing soil, spraying grasshoppers and weeds, and making seed germination tests.
