Each month has found them present1ng an lnformatlve, 1nsp1rat1onal, and lnteresung program to the g1r s of the hxgh school. Suc programs 1nc1uded sluts, sl1des, movxes, and panel d1scuss1ons. On November 19th the Rev. Glenn Lamb, of Des Molnes, enllghted us on the subject, Pa1nt 1ng a Portra1t at our annual Mother Daughter Banquet. Smdey At Chmstmas t1me we sent a box of food and clothmg to a needy fam1ly 1n the commumty. We also had a card shower for Janlce Adklns, a former Y Teen Pres1dent, who has been 111. pf esxdent Blackburn' Durm football season we sold home made candy at time home games, and candy bars and apples at the home basketball ames. Comphments of From the money recelved from these projects IOWA POWER we hope to send a number to the Summer Y Teen AND LIGHT Conference. F, A, were the winning of the 1955 Tractor Rodeo, Freshmen initiation where we initiated 13 new boys into the organization in an assembly program. Six members represented our chapter at the National F. F, A. Convention at Kansas City, Missouri. We honored our parents at our annual Parent and Son Banquet this spring. Our chapter had the largest exhibit of livestock in the F, F. A. division at the Madison County Fair. We were also well represented at the Iowa State Fair, where Dale Lineweaver had the reserve champion Hereford heifer. Our chapter float tied for Znd place in the 19 55 Homecoming Parade.
