SENIORS A RE THE FUTURE Drive, determination, and dedication are required to achieve excellence in any field. Out- standing scholastic abilit is a goal which few are able to achieve, despite the efforts many students put forth. Faithfully completing homework assign- ments and studying adequately before tests requires more time and concentration than most students are willing to devote. Scholastic excellence is often considered the key to success in future careers. Mike Jesse and Laura Dostal selected by seniors as Most Likely to Suc- ceed, have demonstrated their scholastic abilities throughout four years of high school. They, along with other achieving seniors, have been in the forefront of competition for scholar- ships and other college financial assistance. Enduring four hours of multiple-choice questions on the Scholastic Aptitude Test was only the beginning, as they filled out endless forms and wrote numerous essays on a variety of topics in an effort to gain acceptance from the college or uni- versity of their choice.
