Senior Class History In the fall of 1946, the Class of 1958, enrolled in the first grade. Out of that first grade class only Earlene and Evelyn Boore, Brenda Eaton, Donna Chambers, Donnie McLain, and Skip Chambers remain. Our grade years were eventful ones and at last we reached the ultimate goal, eighth grade graduation. Those graduating from the eighth grade in the spring of 1954 were as follows: Earlene and Evelyn Boore, Donna Chambers, Skip Chambers, Donnie McLain, Brenda Eaton, Bonnie Terry, Maureen Barz, Kent Fessenden, Pat Pinkerton, Paul Luby, Joe Pender, Diane Lewis, Barbara Hall, Donna Russell, and Louise Simonds. In the fall of 1954, our class, thirteen strong, embarked on their high school careers. Entering as we did, like most Freshmen, our aim was to set the world on fire, not only with high academic achievements, but by participating in all extracurricular activities as well. Yes, our destiny was setl In these endeavors, we have not been without our share of success. Many of our original classmates are gone. Don McLain and Skip Chambers have both been very active in athletics dur- ing their high school years. All have participated in chorus and Brenda, Donna Louise, Donnie, and Skip have been active in band. Donna Louise participated as a cheerleader. Earlene and Evelyn have given generously of their time to all class activities. As we become of age, we began to accept more and more responsibility. Dur- ing our Junior year, we presented the Junior play, Could Be, followed by the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet. During our Senior year, we gave the Senior play , HOT ICE, published the LUX AQUILAE, nad went on Sneak Day. We are now ready to take our places in the world. We feel we are ready to face the future with great success. Those completing and being rewarded with their graduating diplomas are as follows: Donnie McLain, Skip Chambers, Brenda Eaton, Donna Louise Chambers, and Earleane and Evelyn Boore. - - - Donna Louise Chambers
