We, the SENIORS hereby do sign our names witnessed by each other, to our Last Will and Testament as above written: Compliments of EAGLE LAKE GAS CO. Senio Guess I’ll mosey out to see if this month's paper is here. Anything interestin'? Wal-- DONNA RANDALL TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR IN '76. Donna has become a strong leader in her party. She is expected to win by a landslide. HMMM—here's an article stating that the financial outlook for next year, 1976, is bright according to the foremost stockbroker, Dick Allen. Dick seems to be quite a big shot on Wall Street. It says here that Faye Dice is making her debut at the Met this month. The critics say Faye is one of the greatest sopranos of the era. Gee, a new speed record has been set for jet flying. The champ is none other than Barbara Watson. Despite the fact she is a woman, Barbara has certainly excelled in jet flying. Wow!! here is a picture of that vivacious model, Gloria Sansosti, modeling the fashions for '76. If I remember right, she looked O. K. in a cheerleading suit twenty years ago. I see that Senator Melvin Neumann has made the headlines again. The Senator is quite a controversial figure. He is urging the passage of a bill permitting senators to attend burlesque shows on government time. Well, Mary Rose Palmer, famed mountain climber, has conquered Mt. Everest. This makes Mary Rose the first American and the first woman to achieve this great undertaking. Here is a column written by Betty Watson, well-known marriage counselor. Many people contact Betty for solutions to their problems. It looks like Mary Jo Trezise is expected to receive the Academy Award this year. Producer of the picture was Ronnie Koch, who has really made a name for Mary Jo and himself. This article says since her appointment at Johns Hopkins as head research chemist Dr. Myra Hall has found a cure for every known disease. What's this? Notre Dame is the first college to hire a woman football coach who is Terry Lewis. Notre Dame finished undefeated this year. It says that head horticulturist. Prof. Bud Christiansen of Podunk University (PU), has discovered over 300 uses of the dandelion. Here’s a picture of Inventor Violet Palmer. Violet has invented a fabric com- parable to Superman's famous suit. The Palmer Industries will start producing this marvel soon. An article about Louis Fenno, famous space scientist states that he has succeeded in reaching Mars. His party will go on from there to Jupiter and other planets. The Washington scene again--Secretary of State John T. Psiahas, journeyed to London to consult Ethel Marks, Ambassador to Great Britain. The two diplomats, with top British officials have completed arrangements for the purchase of Canada by the U. S. It looks like all my classmates have found success. What became of me? I run a general store up here in Lone Mule, Tennessee. Bought it from some fellow named Cy Goolus and here I live with my family of thirteen, very happy and content!! —Jerry McLain Compliments of: THE INDEPENDENT LUMBER COMPANY t6e @lci4A 955 It was the fall of 1943. The mighty class of'55 enrolled in the first grade. Out of that original class remain only Terry Ann Lewis. Betty Watson. Barbara Watson, Donna Randall, and Dick Allen. We gained some and lost some dur- ing our grade school years and when we graduated from the eighth grade there were Maitland Coombs, Betty Watson, Donna Randall, Faye Dice, Dick Allen, Jerry McLain, Louis Fenno, Terry Ann Lewis, David Bulkley, Mary Jo Trezise, Kay Carter, Don Figgens, Barbara Watson, and Dorothy Mullen. In the fall of'51, eighteen hearty Freemen enrolled in Eagle High School, We gained Don Collett, Gloria Sansosti, Bob Claussen, Margie Tucker, Myra Hall, and Ethel Marks came later in the year. We started out strong as do all Freshmen, with most of the boys going out for sports, while the girls partici- pated in nearly all of the extra-curricular activities, and the entire class started out for high academic success. We started our sophomore year by gaining Bud Christiansen, Lynn Reeves, and Melvin Neumann. We then came to our last two years of High School by putting on our Junior Class Play, Life of the Party, and then the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet of our Junior Year. Then, at last, the long awaited finale, our Senior Year. In that grand year we presented our Senior Play, Headin' for the Hills, published the LUX AQUILAE, sponsored many school parties, went on Sneak Day, and are now ready for Graduation. We are at last ready to go forth into the wonderful world and to take our places in it.
