The season has not been completed as this goes to print, but are currently tied for second in the League. Smith, Cowden, and Marks will be lost for this year's squad, but our ample supply of Freshmen will be around to take their place in the coming campaigns. Only three Seniors will be lost to next year's team. There will be a host of Freshmen and Sophomore lettermen back next fall to further improve their record of the last year or so. Bulkley, Leiber, Trezlse, Manager. Not present: George Smith. TRACK Track was resumed once more in 1953. The Eagles placed second in the county meet. Considering It was the first year of track for many, this was an exceptional showing. The prospects for 1954 are much brighter, with ten lettermen returning to pick up where they left off last year. It is possible that Eagle may join a conference in track this year. If this is possible we may have some boys that will qualify for the state meet. Compliments of: HARRISON'S CAFE-Phone 96
