Holt Chapter is one of over 7,000 located in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii with a total membership of over 300,000. To be a member one must be enrolled in Vocational Agriculture in the school in which he is attending. He must also pay his state and national dues. The E. M. Holt Chapter participated in county contests such as: public speak- ing, dairy, swine, and beef judgingg parliamentary procedure, seed and shop contests. For recreation North Carolina owns two large camps, which the F.F.A. members may attend for a small fee.
