Colors: Blue and Yellow Flower: Iris The vivacious, undaunted spirit which characterized the original mem- bers of the class of '51 prevailed throughout their four years. Early in the year they elected their ofiicers pictured above, mascots, superlatives, REG-O-ALA staff, and representatives to the student council. The year Was full of study and activities: press conference at the University of N. C., senior day at Elon College and the University of North Carolina, Christmas pageant and parties, the senior play, Easter sunrise service, class day, junior-senior banquet, source themes, examinations, their major project-this volume of the REG-O-ALA, and their last high school activity-graduation: all were performed with creditable service to them- selves and E. M. Holt High School.
