The division consists of four gangs Shipfitters, Electritians, l C Elect- ritians and a Welding and Plummingn and Damage Control men which take care of the repair of damage to the ship from fire and enemy attack. The Electritian gang takes care of the Electrical Equip- ment such as lighting and electrical dis- rtibution and electrical motors. The interior communication electritian takes care of all interior communications and gyrocom- passes. A gang consists of enginemen which takes care of the ships diesel en- gines and all air conditioning and re- frigeration, a gang also consists of ma- chinery repairmen whos job is the running of a precision equipment, E Division as avvhole is the backbone of the ship.
