,z .AI mill Engineering ' '2 LT Benson was commissioned through the OCS program in 1961 and reported aboard the USS TIOGA COUNTY ILST-ll58I as Communications Officer and subsequently Operations Officer. This initial sea tour was followed by duty on the OCS Staff. The next two years were spent at the Naval Postgraduate School in the Naval Engineering Curriculum.
