In the first quarter Danny Jeffries ran a 90 yard punt return to Humbolt's 5 yard line. Larry Hollis plunged through the line giving Dyersburg a 6-O lead. In the second quarter Jeffries ran 90 yards for atouchdown. Hollis ran from 5 yards out making the score 1 8-7. During the third quarter Jefferies scored from 13 yards out. In the fourth quarter Hollis went in from 1 yard to make the score 31-7. Denny Permenter ran 5 yards for the final touchdown, giving the Trojans a 37-7 victory and a 3 game winning streak. Dyersburg Shocks Power ul Ripley In the first quarter Jeffries ran 70 yards for a touchdown making the score 6-0. In the second quarter Permenter made 50 yard pass completion to Swift who carried the ball in for the score. Swift intercepted a Tiger pass to make it 18-O. Willie Cole went over with seconds left to make the score 24-0 at the half. In the fourth quarter after a 60 yard drive Cole carried the ball on short yardage for a touchdown. In the second quarter Permenter passed to Swift for a 50 yard touchdown pass play bringing the score to 14-O. Jeffries made another touchdown and then Swift made another touchdown. The score was now 27-O. In the third quarter Jeffries ran 35 yards for a touchdown. The score at the end of the third quarter was 53-O.
