Julia Shafer The Quill and Scroll is composed of juniors and seniors who have a position on either the Hill Echo or the Trojan staff. The purpose of the club is to promote interest in journalism. Each member is required to be in the upper one-third of his class and must be approved by the advisor of his publication. The Quill and Scroll annually sponsors Stunt Night. This year they are spon- soring a war orphan.

The requirements are to have an eighty-five average, an interest in teaching, and to be a sophomore, junior, or senior. This year for the first time the F.T.A. entered a contest sponsored by the W0m6Il,S Medical Auxiliary. The club sponsored a tuberculin testing of the high school students in co-operation with the Dyer County Health Department and the State Tuberculosis Association. The results of these tests will greatly aid the Health Department in their fight against tuberculosis.
