S. for the first time as high school students. After standing bewildered inthe halls fora few weeks as the thundering herd of upper c lassmen descended upon the school, they organized under the able sponsorship of Miss Bratt who guided theml through their first year. They sold more magazines than any other class and won second prize on their float. ln January, five more bright and shining faces were added to the class to bring the grand total to sixty-two. In the spring the freshman party was held in the lower hall to the unexcelled enthusiasm of all concerned. ln our freshman year Jane Ann Scott was president, Kay Roeder, vice-president, Sue Lippold, secretary and treasurer. Our seat in the student council was warmed during the first year by Patsy Bosley. When we returned to school in 1954, there were sixty-one members in the sophomore class . Again we took second prize for our floatand participated in many school activities, clubs, sports, and magazine drive. One of the more enioyable events of the year was the sophomore party which was held in the lower hall, our sponsor this year was Mr. Haegele . We elected Neil Householder, president, Luke Phelan, vice-president, Jane Constan- tine, secretary-treasurer, Bob Andreasen, student council member. The iunior class had a very successful year under the capable sponsorship of Mr. Vickers. The junior play, All in the Family , directed by Miss Mudge, was a great success. The iuniors also excelled in stationery sales by selling over 5700.00 worth. The Junior-Senior Prom, the maior event of the year, was enioyed by all. We elected Bob Walsh, president, Luke Phelan, vice-president, Jane Constantine, secretary, Bill Smith, treasurer, and Don McConnell, student council member. For our senior year, fifty-nine students came back to the halls of D. T. H. S. Under Miss Frueh's efficient leadership the class enioyeda prosperous year . We again surpassed our magazine goal, had the first prize float in the Homecoming parade, and presented the senior play. We elected Don McConnell, president, Tim Kehoe, vice-president, Sue Lippold, secretary, Jim Pfeifer, treasurer. Neil Householder and Jane Constantine were our student council representatives . There are eleven seniors in the Dwight High School Band. For the first time in eight years our football team won a Homecoming game. The seniors who have done so well in their high school days are looking forward to a happy future. 93 Congratulations To The Class of T956 From The Automobile Dealers FLUYERAS MOTOR SALES CHRISTOPHER CO. . .
