P 1 New York City May 24, 1048 DEAR Miss PIUNTIQR, lt's been tive years since that memorable day when I graduated from dear old llwight High, and l imagine that you will be rather surprised to hear from me. A great deal of water has passed under the bridge since then, but surpris- ingly enough l've been able to keep in contact with nearly all of my former classmates. l thought perhaps you might be interested in hearing something about them. So we resolved to see them after we finished unpacking our luggage. We not only found them, but we also saw three former Ransom girls, Ruth NVright, Helen Hagi, and yluanita Ewing, who were on their wav to lluenos Aires to open a beauty' shop with all the latest equipment. Helen said that Ray Carty, who has built up a good business in air- conditioning in lluenos Aires, was going to be in charge of the installation of the air-conditioning system in their shop. 'l'he rest of our trip was rather uneventful. llisembarking at Rio de Janeiro, Eleanor suggested that we do a little sight- seeing after we established our residence at one of the best hotels in Rio, the CContinued on Page Seventy-twoj Page I mlm rn
