I Bottom R01z'fMiss Ednamae McClelland, Miss Helen Henry, Miss Marie Ilissell, Miss Dorothy XX nl Miss Gladys I'Ioffman. Mr. Maurice Graff is the instructor in the History Department. He has been very successful as a debate coach, creating much enthusiasm in this subject. He always knows when and where a joke is needed. He received his training in the Minier High School and graduated from Normal University and has been teaching in the Dwight High School for four years. Mr. Eugene Wallace is the manual training instructor and athletic director. He received his high school education at Sullivan, Illinois. In l920, he ente1'ed Millikin Uni- versity and in 1923, after discontinuing school for a year, entered Bradley Polytechnical Institute at Peoria. He accepted the position of coach at D.T,H.S. in 1930. He has won seventy-two percent of his games in his tive years of coaching in Dwight, which proves his fine ability as a coach. Mr. Jay Tweed is a new instructor in the science department. His high school edu- cation was received in Springfield, Missouri. He attended the Ifniversity of Michigan where he received his MS. degree. Before coming to Dwight he taught at Chisholm, Minnesotag Langmont, Colorado, and at Libertyville, Illinois. He is also the boys' physical education director. Miss Iildnamae McClelland is the instructor in foreign languages. She was graduated from Champaign High School. She attended the Illinois University receiving a I3.A. and M.A. degree. She is the sponsor of the Language Club and the Junior Class. Miss Helen Henry is an instructor in the English department, assuming this position this September. She received her high school education at Kendallville, Indiana. She attended the Ball State College at Muncie, Indiana, where she received her HS. degree. She is also the director of girls' physical education. Miss Marie Bissell is the Senior Class sponsor. She is also an instructor in the English department. She received her education in the Joliet High School and attended Lake Forest College where she received her A.I3. degree. She began her teaching in D.T.H.S. in 1921. Miss Dorothy VX'ard is the music teacher and sponsor of the Girls' and Boys' Glee Club. Her training was received at Normal Community High School and Illinois State Normal University. She has taught in Dwight for the past six years. Miss Gladys Hoffman is also an instructor in the English department. Her high school education was received at Tremont, She attended Illinois VX'esleyan University where she obtained her Ali. degree. She has charge of the annual junior and Senior plays. She has taught in Dwight since l930. Page Nine
