From March 1974 through December 1976, he completed two peacetime deploy- ments to the Western Pacific on board USS -RANGER QCV-611 with CVW 2. In.December 1976, Captain Beck reported to Attack Squadron 127 as Executive Officer and assumed command, in March 1978. Prior 'toreporting to USS DWIGHT. D. EISENHOWER QCVN-695, he completed a tour of duty as Commanding Officer, USS NIAGARA , FALLS QAFS-35, .ihomeported in Guam, Marianas ,Islands .V 4 ,During Captain Beck's naval ca- reer, he has logged in excess of 3,800 hours of flight time.
