In the clocks is our future,
In the clocks is our past,
In the clocks moves the present,
Fleeting so fast. e
Though we hate to admit it
The ubiquitous chime
Is telling us all that
There just is not time.
No time for spring days,
No time to dream,
No time for living:
We must fit the scheme.
The clocks give our schedule
In brief terms of time
Disguising the years gone
So no one will mind.
Though few ever see
How fast we are old.
All things considered,
Better not to be told.
Tin Mushrooms - Bronze Toadstools
Golden men live inside tin mushrooms where they spin a world women cannot knock
A room where chains are made of flesh. A room where lamps are 14 carats
Silver women live inside bronze toadstools where they knit mittens men will never
They own furniture. They own stolen lamps.
Upon meeting they learn silver and gold can mix.
But they only steal furniture, furniture is a necessity
Gold men steal silver lamps
Silver women continue to steal priceless carats.

Fear not the frightful darkness
But seek to know its light.
Worship not the day's brightness
But seek to understand its purpose.
Many are the times I find myself silent
Wishing that ifl spoke someone might hear.
Many are the days I find myself alone
Walking amidst a crowd of solitary people.
Many will be the years when I will find myself thinking
Of how many times I had closed my eyes.
And laugh to hold
The earth between my arms.

Reveal yourself, all-powerful phantom.
Beware, I am Time.
The bell rang.
The keepers went
Mechanically from door to door.
They opened our cages.
At a signal
From the leader
They encircled us.
"Eat," they said, as
They pushed it towards us.
"Food for thought."
"We are not hungry.
Stop!", we cried.
But they would not
