A new course in Sports' Appreciation is offered this year by the girls P.E. Depart- ment. Taught by Mrs. Overton, this course is offered only to Juniors and Seniors, A new club this year is the Gymkdnn Club. This club is concerned with learning skills involving the trampoline, the vqiulting box, the horse and various other pieces of equipment. This club seeks to build over-all coordination. The program consists of thirty hours of classroom instruction, 12 hours of observation in the car. and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training-,ill designed to acquaint J 191 'i Mr. Charles H. Strange B.S, University of Houston M.Ed, Driver's Education learners with the Maryland Road Rules and to prepare them for the driving test.
