Senior Biographies CClass I-Iistoryj About three hundred thrilled boys and girls entered the Freshman Class in September 1934. Clarke Pfleeger was elected president and guided them successfully through that year. We returned to school the next year with great ambitions and confidence in our own abilities. The difficulties of geometry and Caesar soon showed us we could not retain this position long. When we became Seniors we assumed pompous airs and a dignified appear- ance because we saw our goal in sight. We again elected Clarke Pfleeger, president: Peggy Oliver, vice-president: Irene Weglinski, secretary: and George McGraw, treas- urer. The first three mentioned have had the unusual record of holding their offices during all four years of high school and the latter has held his office for three consecu- tive years. The senior social season started with the gala party, December 6. We proceeded on the social path and presented the Senior Class Play to the public April l. Moving along towards the finis, we enioyed the History League Banquet at the White Inn in Fredonia, then proceeding farther, we combined with the Iuniors in holding a Social Hour. At the end of the trail we climaxed our year with a Gross Speaking Contest, Class Night, Commencement and last of all, the Senior Prom. We have been busy this year working on the CITIZEN Staff and the IVY TOWER. We hope our successors, the luniors, will have just as much fun and hard work next year. We know too much is not to be expected, but We hope you will miss us a little bit next year.
