LANGUAGE ART Language Art, which gives rise to oral and written expression, is so important in a civilization where individual and so- cial contact is frequent. Students soon learn the necessity of clarity and positive- ness when attempting to transmit their ideas and thoughts. MATHEMATICS Daily living shows that there is a wealth of knowledge within the covers of books, magazines, and periodicals. Much of this can be obtained through compre- hensive observation and evaluation. The acquisition of information is part of liv- ing, but the better service is rendered when it is correctly imparted to others. This can be accomplished mainly through systematic study. This English class is a functional organization. GEOGRAPHY just as geographical boundaries have grown closer each year, so too have lan- guage patterns. Exchange students and teachers, foreign pen pals, and world wide travel for many, make a knowledge of other languages a must. This class in Spanish is a positive example of our ef- forts to meet some of the needs of a changing world. W
