Prepare for work on a high school paper. Z. Acquire habits of clear, concise written expression. 3. Acquire poise, tact, and self-confidence in business and social relations. 4. Acquire skill in collecting, condensing, and organizing material from all sources of in- formation. 5. Acquire acritical attitude toward news and an ability to evaluate the worth of publications through wide and intelligent reading of newspapers and periodicals. lnthe picture, Lois Mays, secretary of the class, is recording criticisms and suggestions of the students on a published issue, while Walter Long, president of the class, presides.
