V I Q 9 Q Girls l-li-Y Yes, the Girls' Hi-Y has had a profitable year. Together with the Boys' Hi-Y we gave twenty five dollars to the Athletic Association. At Christmas time we distributed baskets of food. During the year numerous speakers gave us interesting talks. lYe also enjoyed Swimming Parties, a Theatre Party, a Freshman Party, a lfaculty Banquet, and a Mother and Daugh- ter Banquet. lluring l.ent we had complete charge of the chapel programs. A very fine spirit of fellowship has existed among us. 'l'l'he club is composed of fifty members and two advisers, lyliss Flesher and hliss lWarshall, to whom much credit is due for our success this year. Early in the fall the boys cooperated with the Girls, Hi-Y in the sale of peanuts and candy. 1lThe members sponsored several parties which were enjoyed by those who attended. HA Hi-Y conference was held in DuBois. At this meeting the boys were well entertained by such men as F. G. Patterson of Ridgway, and VV. L. Rounsley of DuBois. 1iThe Hi-Y also planned and conducted a mass meeting and a bonfire before the annual Punxsutawney football game. This proved a success and was a great factor in helping to defeat the unde- feated Punxsy team. OFFICERS Max lVhitford. . . ..... Presfdciil Delos Howard. , ..... Vice I'res2'de1ii' H.
