HIGH 507001 SCIUXVIITADY IWW YORK gore 6UOI'0f As we, the graduates of the class of 1961, leave the halls of our Alma Mater, we take with us many memories of our school life at Draper. A picture being worth a thousand words, this yearbook which we have assembled contains many memories of our school life, friends, and teachers, and will serve to recall them better than Words which would slip from our minds. The 1961 Draperian presents a portion of our high school career to look back on in remembrance of growing up and becoming an adult represent- ative of our school, society, and nation. 2 V Cnnffinffj FACULTY A xl ,Q QQ if I Uk . Certainly, the high school you have attended these past four years is a part and parcel of the bigger picture. It is my sincere hope that, as you look into your yearbook in future years, you may not only bring back memories of friends and former acquaintances, but may also mentally reaffirm those principles for which they and your school stood. NORMAN ROWELL csuperzh Xen QQ1211 I congratulate the class of 1961 on graduation from Draper High School. As graduates, you represent a great investment of time, money, and efforts of many people. It is only right that those who have invested in you receive a return on their investment. This return consists of your assumption, in due time, of the full duty and responsibility of citizenship. Continued education and training beyond high school are required. I hope you recognize and take advantage of the many opportunities for your further educational growth in order to make the best use of your abilities. HOWARD E. BAKER l as A' s . The play was about the Smith fam- ily, and the predicaments they got into when Mr. Smith announced that they must move to New York to live. The Smith children's scheme to prevent this from happening led to many serious but amusing problems.
