Your graduation as a member of the class of 1955 will climax your high school career and pleasant associations at Draper. A year from now each of you will have taken his place in an adult world either on a job or in a school where you can get advanced training. Your education in high school has brought you one great advantage among many, which is the opportunity to choose your future career. Whether you attend college, training school, or take on-the- iob training your diploma makes this possible. Future success depends on you. The same habits of study acquired in public school will apply in all learning situations. I congratulate you on achieving the goal of graduation and wish you success. HOWARD E. BAKER Superintendent ADMINISTRATION During medieval times there developed the interesting art of heraldry whereby noted families established coats of arms. Of the many heraldic designs and mot- toes probably the one with the word VERITAS, meaning truth, was used more than any other. Just as TRUTH was a significant word and respected principle in the Middle Ages, so today we hold it in high regard. I compliment you, as a graduating class, on your high standards, knowing that you are fully aware of the impor- tance of TRUTH in your school life.
