T DENZEL TOMPKINS PI'05Tlfl'lll EDWARD NIcC XRTAN Composed of twelve student members and one faculty member, Student Council confines its duties almost entirely to the fall semester, when homecoming is its province, to plan and execute. All-university parties are presented under its aegis, and it acts as patron for all peti- tions from the student body. Six members at large from the university and one member each from the six undergraduate colleges make up the membership. Fall elections are open to the entire student body. Prominent among activities this year were the new student party at Hotel Savery, and the all-university sport dance at Hotel Fort Des Moines.
